OK you got me. This look is clearly inspired by Hedi Slimane's California grunge collection for Saint Laurent - but hey, who can blame me? The guy knows what the cool girls want to wear - think leather micro-minis and bustiers, tartan shirts and crop jackets. Can you relate?
As for the choice of sandals..they are just a slight reminder to myself that Summer is here, and no, it's NOT acceptable to wear leather and boots all year long - coming from a girl who wears leather and boots all year long. Confused? Yeah, me too.

As summer is slowly revealing it's sunny and happy face, our famous cut-offs are experiencing a major comeback..and when I say famous, I simply underline the fact that Nat and I are well-known for "practically living in shorts and showing off our legs" - simply quoting our friends here hehe.
It's a piece of clothing that we cannot live without, as we wear it all year long, tights or no tights, with leather jackets or cardigans, flat boots or high heels. We simply love them and we are always in pursuit of yet another pair of denim shorts with the perfect fit...and I am sure you girls can all relate to this.
Another necessary piece of everyone's wardrobe has to be a denim button up shirt. Paired with denim shorts or jeans, this is one of my favorite combos, so chic yet uber-fashionable.
