I had the honor and pleasure to attend the American Cancer Society and the Personal Care Products Council Foundation's annual DreamBall. I was more than delighted to have joined such a celebration for an amazing cause such as the Look Good Feel Better program.
It was an event to honor and praise the generosity of that night's Honorees and the Cosmetic Industry and the amount that was expected to be risen that night was more than $2,000,000! These funds will help the Look Good, Feel Better program members to improve the outer beauty and of course provide them with extra hope and confidence for a better and healthier tomorrow.
The ceremony was so utterly moving, I could not prevent my eyes from watering non-stop. It was one of those times that the stories of real-life heroes such as cancer survivors made us rethink our daily minor problems, enjoy each minute of every day to the fullest and reminding all of us to express our feelings to the people we care about and love in every chance we have-because life is unpredictable and you never know what may happen next. Scary I know, but reality can be harsh sometimes, and people around us may suffer, people that never thought it could happen to them. Show respect to them and assist in every way you can to a better tomorrow, towards a cancer-free era.
Excuse me for being kind of mellow, but the feelings I got attending this gala cannot actually be expressed in paper.
